A New Concept, and a Project, of Course!

Welcome to another week! I hope everyone had a wonderful day yesterday and all the moms out there enjoyed their time! We were fortunate enough to spend the day at the beach yesterday! :) And on the way out there, we spent some time trying to figure out how to make our projects and ideas easier to plan and keep everything organized. Up until now, we kind of just posted what we've done, and as you probably noticed, there are times when we go a few days without posting anything. After we did our "Fiesta" week, we decided that it might be easier to theme each week, and have five or six different projects, based around that theme. Ideally, this should work, so we'll see. It makes planning projects much easier for us!
With that in mind, we have this week's Patriotic theme. As you all know, Memorial Day is at the end of the month, and we're already half-way through the month. In theory, it would probably make more sense to do this week next week, but we have big plans for the last two weeks of the month!! Today's project is a home decor piece that we whipped up today. It is a banner that we have hanging up on our mantel.
(Don't mind the mirror, apparently we didn't wipe it down very well...)
Anyway, it says "USA" on it, and the letters are divided by fireworks. The picture below shows the first four sections a little better:

The letters are jazzed up with some red rhinestones, and are on rosettes, so they stand out a little more. I think it would be perfect for a summer backyard barbeque!
Hope everyone has a magnificent Monday!!
